What We Believe

What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is composed of all the books of the Old and New Testaments. It is the only infallible and authoritative word of God. It is without error and defect of any kind. It is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried.

We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He alone is worthy of all honor, worship, and praise. He is the Creator, Redeemer, and Ruler of Heaven and Earth. He is expressly glorious in holiness and love.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He performs miracles and atoned us through his death, shed blood and resurrection. We believe that he ascended to heaven and lives to make intercession for us at the right hand of the Father. We believe in His personal and visible return in power and glory.

We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit Who regenerates unbelievers, the evidence of which is repentance, faith, and newness of life. We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe He indwells believers, enabling them to live a Godly life, transforming them to the likeness of Christ, and keeping them by power of God until the day of Jesus Christ.

We believe that man was created in the image of God and was intended to have fellowship with God. However, since Adam, all men are sinners by nature and by choice, and are under the just condemnation of the Holy and Righteous God and is in need of salvation.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, Who is the only and all-sufficient Savior and the only Mediator between God and man; and that the Gospel of salvation should be shared with every person in the world.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
